On Second Chance Love

Second chance love is subterfuge. It is a deception and a blindfold against the truth. There’s no such thing as love is sweeter the second time around because second chance love is more of a compensation. Compensation to the responsibilities that you had shouldered before and since he wasn’t able to move on and you are single, you would give second chance. Although, you know in your heart, it is no longer love but a responsibility.

Second chance love doesn’t automatically mean that you are destiny. It just sounded like it was destiny because in our generation, it is seldom for couples to go back to relationship they had thrown already. And due to its bizarreness it makes people think of something unremarkable as: destiny. But sometimes, it’s just about compensation, so that you won’t have any regrets because you tried.

But let me tell you this, you have to think about it first. Not because he looked serious or changed right now, means he is already deserving, because if you will let it happen it seems like you are giving someone another bullet because he missed the first one.

Think about it. You don’t have any clue about what is to happen in the future, so better program in yourself that you will not do anything stupid if things would hurt.
